It’s taken longer than planned, mostly because my stamina is not what it used to be. But it’s all coming together for departure, April 15.
The front 3rd of the trailer was a queen-sized bedroom. I removed the bed and installed a bed/cutting table and a sewing/computer table.
The middle 3rd was a dining/living room. I removed the broken dinette, and other stuff, and installed a bunk for Mac/ seat for meals.
The back 3rd of the trailer is a kitchen and bathroom. That needed to be re-plumbed because of rats and mice. I also raised the refrigerator off the floor so it would be easier to look into and get things out. I put a new toilet in the bathroom and an in-line water heater.
It’s been a lot of work, it’s been a lot of fun. I got the trike for short trips around the campground and nearby stores and attractions. I have ridden a bike most of my life, but got to a point that I could not get on my bike without a high curb of laying it down (and spilling stuff out of the basket).
The truck is Mac’s 4WD 1-ton Silverado with badges of honor denting it’s sides. The trike will ride in the bed.
It can happen, with His help.
